It has been fun traveling with you in all of these pictures. Peter was here yesterday, what an uplifting and exciting time. We sat down for lunch and talked afterwards for about two hours total. I told him how much I missed hanging with you guys, and encouraged him to organize something soon that we could all get together again.

I miss Oregon dearly. I look at the pictures of the coast and the redwood forest, both of which we visited, and long for those days. I remember the waves running up onto the rocky beach and then pulling back, bringing the rocks and pebbles with it. It would create a wonderful sound as each rock bounced off another, it would only be for about 3 seconds, but I couldn't help but realize how wonderful that was. I hear those sounds in my dreams often, and my senses still seem to be in Oregon at times, when I smell the soggy pine, feel the moist air, hearing only the wind through trees, seeing only beauty...the east coast fails completely in comparison.

peace my friend
